Me and my husband went to Sal's to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary we had a nice romantic dinner and the food was delicious I recommend going Sal's for a quiet and peaceful dinner the waitress we had fantastic she made sure that we had everything we needed and came back a couple times to check on us we would definitely go back to Sal's again

If you like an relaxed, take your time, no rush environment with real authentic italian dishes, this is the place to be. The food quality is great, the service is great, and the ambiance is fantastic as well. Great place to have a small family get together to talk and eat and relax. One of my favorites.

Went to Sals when it was in the burg and I still go today. Have had intimate, as well as a group of friends out to dinner and have yet to be disappointed. Even had my daughter's shower there and the food got rave reviews. Not much more to add except, go there for better than average Italian dining.

Sal De Forte's has a quiet, low-lit, attractive atmosphere. Service is quick, efficient and friendly. Very much enjoyed the entrees and salads. Was expecting Italian specialties for desert; they were good but not what I'd hoped for.

An absolute gem. Lived in this area for 3 years and never knew this place existed. Erica was a fantastic server and we enjoyed our experience beginning to end. The food was the best Italian I've had in Mercer County. Will be returning soon.

The eggplant tolentino and the scrod were definitely my favorites.

The best sauce ever, nana sauce on sundays only , I drove 60 miles one way to eat dinner there, very very very good.

I have never ever once gotten a bad meal here! All the food is so fresh and perfectly prepared and reasonably priced. Today I ordered stuffed chicken breast, broccoli, and mashed sweet potatoes everything was delicious! Fresh! I ordered it to go because I was doing a house clean out. And they even remembered to put butter with my bread! That's how amazing, they get the orders right as well. Not only is the food out of this world but their service is always impeccable .I can't say enough about Sal's for dinner and/or lunch. Their sauce is so good it's not filled with oregano or thick. And everything is fresh! Even fresh vegetables! Love love love!

Check your bill if you order takeout!! I called in for a dish that's listed on their website menu for $13.95, the lady behind the counter asked me for $16.95, when I addressed the problem to her she handed me a menu and said "see, it's $16.95" instead of addressing the fact a customer calling in for takeout isn't using that menu, and didn't even want to look and see the online menu prices were very different. All this took place right in front of the boss! The decent thing to do would have been to address the issue and charge the advertised price, then later correct the online menu. Just saying!

Kind of a small, sometimes crowded place, but food and service is better than many big-name restaurants. Friendly atmosphere, menu choices to please anyone's dining needs.

The location is easy to get too and has plenty of parking. The lighting and ambiance were good, but the chairs and cups could use an upgrade.Service was an issue as we both ordered a salad (comes with the entree), but it never came before our meal was delivered. The food was delicious and was the star of the show. I can see why people keep coming back. There are no desserts listed on the menu and the waitresses didn’t offer it to us at the end so I don’t even know if they have desserts! Going to try it again with the rest of the family and hopefully our service issue was just a one time problem.

Nice ambience for a restaurant in a strip mall. The service was quick. The food is high quality at moderate prices. I enjoyed my meal. I recommend here for a nice meal. By the way, it is a BYOB restaurant.

We've called upon Sal De Forte on numerous occasions to host family events (wedding rehearsals, birthdays and funeral gatherings) and they've always provided excellent service and delicious meals. Highly recommend.

Amazing cheese ravioli!

We don't go often but we've never had a bad meal at Sal's. Expect certain nights to be pretty busy. Friday nights and weekends like most places. Prices are reasonible and average for a restaurant of the caliber. The menu does change from time to time with seasonal fare but Sal's also has regular items that are always available. BYOB, which saves on the final bill.
